Puget Sound Coaches Association

About the PSCA

We are an enlivened community of coaches creating growth and professional excellence so that members excel and build value for each other and the greater community.

History

Formed in 1996, the Puget Sound Coaches Association is a chartered chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

  • We are a volunteer-based learning community to benefit coaches, coaching, and the Puget Sound coaching community.
  • We are a dynamic, caring community passionate about coaching.
  • We envision coaching as a foundation for communication and relating, learning and growing, leading and serving.
  • We provide a supportive environment for those seeking professional growth where people can experience the power of coaching.

Participation in the PSCA is open to ICF members. Non-ICF member coaches and those interested in becoming a coach or learning about coaching are welcome to attend program meetings and join in coaching-related discussions.

Benefits

Participation in PSCA offers many benefits... first, a great way to meet and connect with other local and regional coaches. Our mission is to build community and contribute to the growth of coaches and the coaching profession.

  • Program meetings - September through June, with speakers on topics to enhance coaching and our coaching businesses. Meetings are typically held the second Tuesday of each month – 6:30-9:00pm at the Mercer Island Community Center subject to change, so please check the current event details. Programming fee discounted for members - $15.00 in advance $25.00 at the door for Members. Non-members are also invited; be sure to register early for the best rates.
  • Coaching Week - Community awareness-building and/or professional development events during the first week in February.
  • Social gatherings with fellow coaches, including our PSCA summer picnic and holiday party
  • Discussion Groups – E-mail communication and outreach. A tool to notify coaches of upcoming events. Coaches use it also for communication and posting notifications to their fellow coaches.
